Rambo flees as Yushin drops the bomb and discards his compound bow so he can run faster. This decision leads to his life being saved as the bomb explodes without hitting him. The bow is not seen after this, having presumably been destroyed during the explosion.

Later on, he uses it in a fight with Soviet soldiers in a cave where he attaches blue glow sticks to arrows. Rambo uses a Hoyt Gamemaster long bow for fishing and later a vintage Martin Cougar II to massacre a squad of Burmese soldiers that are murdering civillians.
He later threatens Lewis with it when Lewis attempts to turn back from the rescue mission. When rambo is preparing for the human traffickers to come, he is seen putting the bow into a contraption to hold it in place. He then practices, hitting playing cards from atop the Barn's second floor. He later shoots Hugo Martinez in both legs, and both arms, pinning him to the wall. So to be accurate you need to find a left handed bow. That would suck if you're right handed. How heavy is the compound bow? Not talking about the resistance of the cables in the full-draw position, but the weight of the bow itself. Any ideas? I own all three bows in their exact movie configuration. That's a killer display, Barney Five!! Can you point out, left to right, which bows pertain to which movie?
Assume left to right, Rambo 2 to Rambo 4? Why are they not all black? I think I still prefer the Rambo 2 Hoyt Spectra. By the way, why are they called compound bows? Nice collection Barney! A friend of mine had the commercially released Hoyt from the second movie.

This Compound Bow is based on the one used by Rambo in the films. Sadly we do not sell exploding arrow tips. Unfortunately we do not sell exploding arrow tips like the ones used in the clip below but we do have everything else.
Rambo uses a compound bow in every film after Rambo First Blood. Trained as a child to use a bow for hunting and survival he is of course lethal with it. Compound bows use pulleys and cables to bend the bow limbs and make them much more energy efficient than traditional or recurve bows. This beautiful bow has adjustable sights, arrow rest and cable guards. You can also adjust the draw weight of this bow which is up to 55lb. That is very powerful and can produce arrow speeds of FPS feet per second that is approximately mph.

Unlike the more traditional bows, this one contains two strings, although only one is used for firing. The second string is supposed to be wrapped around the two pulleys to make it easier to pull back. There are spots for arrows, but it tends to be a bit easier to just carry them in a separate container and it can be used for other items like sights, which have to be manually adjusted and a flashlight.
There are plenty of uses for the extra area that is unused.
