It made me believe, that though i am weak, that shows that i am stronger than others. This title contains: Positive Messages. Had useful details. Read my mind 1. Teen, 16 years old Written by Emo. Princezz November 18, Perfect for everyone that can read My name is Micha and I am 17 years old and my opinion on this book is very good. I think that every person should read this book sometime in there life time. It has a very good setting and detail.

I would really recommend this book. This title contains: Educational Value. Kid, 12 years old April 29, A good book.

I will tell you now, it is not. Lois, herself, says tis is not a sequel to The Giver, but it links to it. It is confusing.

You do not need to read The giver first, you can read either book first. This book is about a crippled young lady named Kira, going on a journey with a few friends Matt, Branchie, Jo, Thomas , although, it is not physical.

Kira stays in one place, her village, finding the flaws in their village. Positive role models. Kid, 10 years old August 29, I liked the first one better Don't get me wrong! I really liked this book.

I just think it paled in comparison to the first book in the series. Defiantly the weakest book in the series, but trust me, keep reading. Teen, 13 years old Written by Ornate mist March 25, Teen, 14 years old Written by edensage May 19, Out of the four books in the series, this is probably my least favorite, but still a great read! Positive Messages. Kid, 10 years old July 24, Recommended I would recommend this book to everyone who can read.

This book contains great messages, although The Giver is better. If you can get your hands on it, then definitely give it a try. Teen, 15 years old Written by BrigidArmbrust July 14, Teen, 17 years old Written by Gibs June 19, Hi I had to read more than 1 page. Kid, 12 years old April 22, Interesting story Wow, it took some imagination to dream this story up. And glad if it! I love how sweet Kira is and how brave she is, too.

She's very strong, even though she has a twisted leg, and proud of it. It was a good story, but I've read better. The way she and Thomas felt connected to their first creations and by coincidence they meet and become friends was something that I would expect to see in a cheesy movie, not a book written by the same author as The Giver. Don't be confused. Steven I don't think so. While it takes place in the same era there is no other connection between the stories, yet. You will need to read The Giver before reading the next in the series for it all to make sense.
